Incursions and Workshops

Creating a Secure and Inclusive Environment

Movement Opens the Door to Meaningful Conversations

Some students struggle to engage with traditional presentations about wellbeing, behaviour and relationships.

Healthy Teens uses movement to break down barriers and create opportunities for more honest conversations.

Students participate in physical activities, practical challenges, scenarios, group discussions and guided reflection. This helps them connect wellbeing concepts with situations they experience in everyday life.

Rather than simply telling students what they should do, we help them practise how to respond.

Helping Students Develop Greater Emotional Control

“Many students who were initially hesitant to participate in physical activities became actively engaged, showing noticeable improvements in both their physical capabilities and their overall attitude towards fitness.”

Mark Bennett, Deputy Head of Middle School (Boys), Haileybury College.

The School’s Goal

Lyndale Secondary College wanted to support a targeted group of students to better understand anger, regulate their emotions and respond more calmly during challenging situations.

What Healthy Teens Delivered

Students participated in a structured program combining boxing activities, emotional regulation strategies, discussions, reflection and practical tools for managing anger and conflict.

Student Feedback

• 100% of participating students said they would recommend the program
• 87.5% reported feeling more in control of their anger
• 87.5% reported improvement in their ability to respond calmly

The program demonstrated how movement, positive relationships and practical emotional regulation strategies can help students engage with important wellbeing concepts.

Yes. Several Healthy Teens programs are designed for students experiencing disengagement, emotional regulation difficulties, low confidence or challenges responding appropriately to conflict.

We will speak with your school about the needs of the group before recommending a program.
