Young people are navigating social pressure, online influence, emotional stress, relationship challenges and increasing expectations. Healthy Teens helps schools respond through practical programs that strengthen confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, respectful behaviour and healthier habits. We combine movement, mentoring and honest conversations to engage students in ways that feel relevant, supportive and real.
Healthy Teens was created to help young people develop the skills, confidence and self belief they need to make positive choices.
Many students struggle to engage with traditional sport, classroom based wellbeing lessons or generic presentations. They may understand what they should do, but still need support applying it when facing pressure, frustration, conflict or setbacks.
Our programs create opportunities for students to move, reflect, communicate and practise useful strategies in a safe and encouraging environment.
We do not simply tell young people to make better choices. We help them understand themselves, recognise the consequences of their actions and build the skills needed to respond differently.
Physical activity creates opportunities for students to challenge themselves, experience progress and build confidence.
Positive relationships help young people feel heard, respected and supported rather than judged or labelled.
We use clear language, relatable examples and practical discussions to explore topics that affect students at school, at home and in everyday life.
This combination helps students stay engaged while developing skills they can continue using after the program ends.
Healthy Teens was founded by Paapa Kweku, a youth wellbeing practitioner, mentor, keynote speaker and personal trainer with extensive experience supporting young people in schools, sporting environments and community programs.
Paapa created Healthy Teens to give schools a practical and engaging way to support students who may not respond to conventional wellbeing approaches.
His work combines movement, discipline, reflection and genuine connection to help young people build confidence, regulate emotions, communicate respectfully and recognise their potential.
Paapa holds a Master of Human Resource Management and brings experience across youth mentoring, personal training, competitive sport, business leadership and school based wellbeing programs.
Our sessions use movement, practical activities, real examples and honest conversations that encourage students to participate.
We learn about your students, current concerns and desired outcomes before recommending the most suitable program and delivery format.
Programs can be adapted for different ages, abilities, cultural backgrounds, fitness levels and student support needs.
Students develop strategies they can use to manage emotions, communicate respectfully, respond to pressure and make healthier decisions.
Where appropriate, we use student feedback, teacher observations, reflections and participation measures to help schools understand program impact.
Healthy Teens works with primary and secondary schools across Melbourne, regional Victoria and beyond.
Our programs support students through mentoring, fitness, boxing based wellbeing, self defence, respectful relationships education, empowerment programs, school gyms, sports academies and targeted student engagement initiatives.
“Many students who were initially hesitant became actively engaged, with noticeable improvements in their physical capabilities and attitude towards fitness.”
