Boxing Therapy and Empowerment Programs for Schools

Helping students build emotional regulation, confidence, respect and safer decision making

Healthy Teens delivers structured, non contact boxing, fitness, mentoring and guided reflection programs for schools.

Our Boxing Therapy and Empowerment Program gives students a practical way to build self control, confidence, resilience and personal responsibility through movement, conversation and reflection. This program is ideal for schools looking to support students who may be struggling with emotional regulation, behaviour, confidence, peer conflict, disengagement or poor decision making under pressure.

A practical wellbeing program students actually engage with

Not every student responds best to sitting in a room and talking.

Some students need movement first.

Through non contact boxing, functional fitness, teamwork challenges and guided discussion, students are given a safe and structured environment to release energy, build trust, reflect on their choices and learn practical strategies they can use at school, at home and in the community.

The program is active, engaging and school appropriate. Students are challenged physically, supported emotionally and encouraged to take greater ownership of their behaviour, effort and future.

All boxing activities are pad based, technique focused and built around control, respect, discipline and safe movement.

Sessions are supervised, structured and adapted to suit the age, ability, confidence and behaviour needs of the group.

Healthy Teens works with schools before delivery to understand student needs, group suitability, behaviour expectations, safety considerations and any additional support requirements.

Our focus is always on creating a safe, respectful and positive environment where students can participate, build confidence and learn without feeling judged.

Students build group trust, understand expectations and begin reflecting on who they are, how they show up and how their choices affect others.

Week 2: Emotional regulation and anger awareness

Students learn to identify triggers, recognise the physical signs of anger and practise strategies to pause, reset and respond safely.

Week 3: Respect, conflict and safer decision making

Students explore respectful behaviour, conflict without threats or violence and the consequences of impulsive decisions.

Week 4: Resilience, stress and peer pressure

Students learn how to manage setbacks, handle pressure, ask for help and make better choices when emotions are high.

Week 5: Goals, growth and future direction

Students reflect on what they have learned, set personal goals and identify the kind of person they want to become moving forward.
